i've been working on this suitcase since the holidays started :)

the first photo is what it looked like before i painted it, and the second photo is the finished product!

it's really quite easy to do, if you have a lot of time on your hands and is a great crafty thing for the holidays.

i'm really glad i bought it, it's perfect for spring when its not too hot or too cold :)

so, basically i have been on holiday for a week with my youth group.

we went to a town in the north of western australia called Meekatharra, it was such an amazing trip!

it's a mostly indigenous community, and it was so great to hang out with the local kids :)

the above image describes how i'm feeling right now and how love makes everything goes round.

i know this is not a usual post i would do, but i just feel so high on life right now!

1. i bought this dress quite a while ago for $3, and only just altered it to fit my yesterday with the

help of my lovely grandma! it used to floor length

2. this dress i purchased at a local vintage sale. it's so pretty, i love it!

Thrifting and Peter Pan Collars

lately i've been really inspired by peter pan collars, they're so pretty and simplistic

they add just that 'oomph' to an outfit! :)

i found a tutorial on how to make a Peter-Pan Collar, and i really want to make it!

i just have so many assignments to do at the moment, but i will make time.

Oreo Truffles

look at these yummy oreo truffles, they look like heaven!

i'm thinking of making them tonight with my friends possibly :)

Oreo Truffles

1 package oreo cookies (divided… use cookie including the cream center)
1 8oz. package cream cheese (softened)
white chocolate bark

1. Finely crush 7 cookies in a food processor or place them in a ziploc bag and crush into a fine consistency. Reserve for later.
2. Crush remaining cookies and stir in softened cream cheese. Use the back of a large spoon to help mash the two together.
3. Roll the mixture into 1″ balls and place on wax paper covered cookie sheet.
4. Melt chocolate as directed on the package and then dip balls into chocolate, tap off extra and set aside on wax paper covered cookie sheet to dry. You can sprinkle the tops with the 7 crushed cookies for decoration. (I usually eat mine before they make it to this stage.)
5. Once dry, refrigerate and enjoy!

Makes about 36 truffles.

i was tagged by Hannah from the five plus you and me and this is my first time being tagged!

it's rather exciting and i hope you enjoy :)

If you had the choice to leave everything you know now to be somewhere you've always wanted to be, would you? in a way yes, i would love to be more outgoing with people i dont know very well and do more art + design, especially photography! i would also explore the world a lot more, cause its an exciting place!

Which single possession of yours do you think best expresses who you are? would my room count? it holds so many memories and it's where i've grown up. it shows my personality to the world, i guess.

Have you ever been in love? yes, im in love with my life - my family and friends. it's a corny answer, but its true, they hold me together and are always there for me :)

What do you consider your therapy; what do you do that is necessary for your sanity? it depends on my mood i guess, sometimes i do some sewing or take some photographs. sometimes i create something arty or i just look on the internet for inspiration, that usually makes me feel happy :) just finding something that inspires me.

Which do you prefer: day-dreams or dreams while sleeping? i prefer day-dreaming, it gives me a chance to jump out of my world and pretend my life is something else.

Do you believe being creative is a blessing or a curse? i believe creativity is a blessing, it allows you to express who you are without speaking. especially as i'm a very quiet person :)

What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning? the first thing i do in the morning, is... im not quite sure :| i usually go downstairs and have breakfast i guess, nothing exciting really.

What question do you want to ask yourself right now? answer it. the question i want to ask myself is, where am i going in life? im in year eleven, and its getting close to the last year of high school, and everything is so close, yet so far away. i have to choose my subjects for next year, and i dont know what to do.. whether i want to do design in university or do something to do with medicine when im older. it's hard, so thats my answer..
